Those fuel haulers got a thread going. So I want to see what foodgrade haulers we have around here. Just a thread about anything foodgrade/bulk tank related. Questions, comments, general talk about our job.

I have been doing doing food grade tanker for almost a year now...love it.
Blackshack46 Thanks this. -
What do you haul? I mostly pull a chocolate wagon and sometimes I got sugar behind me.
-
I pull everything from food grade oils to caustic acid. We haul our own stuff so we have loads when the dispatch can do his job.
Blackshack46 Thanks this. -
I'd unload the chocolate with a 3" straw.
Blackshack46 Thanks this. -
Chocolate is slooow unloading.

It really all depends. If I have crumb on with a slight incline, it's three hours. Liquor is 1 1/2. And there's a tasty bake I go to that takes 1 hour from arrival to departure for 45,000 pounds of some type of liquid chocolate. It's the fake stuff that's made of whey, sugar and oil that I hate. Scraping that stuff is like pushing a house an you always have a foot or two just sitting on the bulkhead. -
I like unloading sucrose. 25-30 minutes and I'm gone for the next load.

Start pulling food grade again. Did it from 2000 to 2010, can't stay away. Lets keep this thread going
crazeydude, Blackshack46 and 77smartin Thank this.
