Hey everyone been meaning to stop receiving in and say hello. I'm heading to pate Dawson in Goldsboro nc and was need a parking real close to get my ten hour break. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

I am sure there must be small places in Goldsboro
but there is a TA on 95 in Kenly maybe 25 miles away

 

Got unloaded a sygma in Fort Worth at 1:00 am, drove out to the petro on 20 west. All kinds of parking. One for the parking book. 20 min drive, worth it.

 

There is a HUGE Petro in Kenly and a Flying J across the overpass from it on 95.

 

Hey 4way, I just delivered there today, there is a dead end just down the road from them, parking is kosher there. No facilities, but it's better than a sharp stick in the eye.

 

There is 2 Walmarts close. One is about a mile away. Just off US 70...DO NOT try to park in front. But pull in the driveway just past the Walmart and go behind the building and they are cool with you parking back there.
The other Walmart is a few miles west of Goldsboro... But less then 10 miles... An easy parking lot..... It's also on US 70.

 

Made it to Colorado yesterday morning and made my first drop. Stayed at a small Conoco truck stop at the 240 on I25. Got up early and was early for my first stop at 0530. Fast and easy, second stop was for 0930. I was there by 0700. Got right in a door and unloaded in less than an hr. I called up my final stop... Which was for 0500 tomorrow morning. They said I could come a day early and they would try to fit me in... and if not, they have some overnight parking available I could stay in.....If I had to wait till tomorrow.
I pulled in and parked. Walked up to the guard shack to sign in. they were super nice and polite, and put me right in a door. 55 minutes later I was pulling out of the gate empty and getting out of Denver.
I am right back the same truck stop... Even in the same spot...
That 3rd delivery that took me early is US Foods. Very nice people. And Overnight Parking!! Make a note of it!!
All 4 places I had stops at were fast... All had lumpers but I must have caught them on good days...
