This is a one time thing with this broker, but I have no clue about the broker and dealers relationship.

Not going to argue about it or console any woe is me tears.
You got into carhaul. If you can't stomach the rules, go haul something else.

The vehicle is on your trailer...what happens to it is your fault. Like it or not.

    wyodispatchgirl Thanks this.

Appreciate the straight talk and understand it, but I think open carry should be able to exclude rock chips on windshields, otherwise go enclosed. Man the brokers pawn off all the risk to us, but don't share in the burden.

That crap may fly with manufacturers that you have to keep happy to continue hauling thier stuff day in and day out but in loadboard broker used cars the carrier has much more control of saying no to BS claims. I suppose you think we should be responsible for hail storms too?

    Again you want to argue.
Go tell the broker to pound sand. Is that what you want to hear? Tell him to go get rotated off his stupid windshield chip.
Is this forum about hearing what you want, participation trophies, saying "That's awesome buddy" even if it sucks?

No matter who's crap you are hauling, you have to keep someone happy to keep hauling said crap. Unless that said crap is yours too.

    Bye now.

    wyodispatchgirl Thanks this.

I think one thing this discussion has brought up is the question of the legal relationship between us and a broker on CD. I plan to look into it.

There's a huge difference between new and used. What goes on behind the desk for @SLANT6 isn't gonna be the same as what happens for a guy out there moving used or auction freight. Most auction houses will see minor wear and tear as no big deal, while a mfg will think it's the end of the world. In the winter I wrap some windows to prevent chips but even that isn't fool proof. I came to the realization that windows are kind of a cost of doing business now.

    wyodispatchgirl and Terry270 Thank this.
