That ain't like the lease operators that claim to make $350,000 a year -

22 billion in sales, minus expenses, -
PFJ has at least that much revenue.
I would not be surprised if Loves also came out with reserved parking in the next few years.

I stopped at the Petro in Atlanta yesterday. About half the parking lot was pay. They want to charge you for spending money with them at their gate and now want to also charge you to have a decent parking spot. We need to contact our congressmen and the fmcsa about these paid parking truck stops. It is a safety issue. It is also extortion. I think that if I spend money for fuel, food, etc., that I should NOT have to pay for parking. When you are tired and then can only find a parking spot at a truck stop where you are forced to pay to park, it is extortion. Unless you bow down to their pay demands, you could be involved in an accident due to fatigue or violate your hos in order to find a parking spot. If enough drivers would take the time to write a letter, send an email or call their representatives, we might be able to stop this pay to park scam. I rarely stop at the Petro in Atlanta due to having to hassle with their gate tickets. With the pay to park scam, it is more of an incentive to pass them by. I did not spend any money with the Petro due to their parking scam. I thought about eating a meal and then changed my mind due to the parking. I had to briefly meet someone. I met them and left without spending anything. If you dislike being forced to pay to park, then take a few minutes to contact your congressman and the fmcsa.

You have to get a ticket on entering, and keep track of it, and if it gets lost, you are at the mercy of the gatekeeper and owner, at least, at the one in Bordentown, NJ. 600 dollars bought in fuel and still get the 3rd degree?, not if I have an alternative.
I like the J better (former Detroiter) south of Detroit, pay up front, and then get it back when you leave after either buying something or before 2 hours has passed. Seems less congested than tose ohther places, and many of the gates are not being used anymore at other TA/Petro locations.
New locations were not being equipped from what I have seen, and I can't recall being at the Petro GMan mentioned, only in Atlanta twice on a trip to Miami, and waiting around there once was more than enough for me. Never stopped in Hotlanta on the way down.
I'll take my metro Midwest peddle runs, TYVM.
