Hi guys,
I have a dodge ram 3500, 5.9, rear wheel drive and the engine is not cummins engine.
I just would like to ask that, how many cars I can haul with this truck, do you recommend, 3 or 4 cars maximum.
where I have to go to check the capacity load for my truck, like dealership or somewhere else.
Thanks in advance

It is a 2005, so get a 5 car to put behind it. More money!
It will be better if it is a single rear wheel instead of dually, extra tires is just extra weight.
CDL? Pffft who needs that? Or insurance? Just takes time & money out of your pocket.
Obviously messing with you on the above. But if it is a gasser, may as well stay home though. -
I had that 5.9L Magnum V8 in a 1500 Dodge and in all honesty, the Vortec 4.8L in the GMC I replaced it with would just about dance circles around that boat anchor (and burn way less fuel doing it too).

We got 2010 Ram3500 and 2016 Ram 3500. 2010 it really not designed to haul anything more than 2 (Enclosed) maybe 3 open at very best, but never tried.
Heard people hauled 4-5 car with Ram3500 and over a few years an actual frame of the truck have twisted as it is not designed for such heavy loads. Engine is not powerful enough as well. -
Just find 7 cars easy loader Cottrell with goose neck and you should be all good .
Viceroy1 Thanks this. -
