Probably get a drug test the first day of orientation in Olathe, Kansas. I don't know if it's urine or hair follicle.

Hair Follicle goes back a minimum of 90 days.

Urine test clears out of your system in like 1/3 of the time.

In my case if I wanted to get clean I can do that in 15 days flat. Nothing on Urine but hair will go back years. There is no way. Everyone is going hair now.

I tell you something else. I was reading a article early this week where DNA is now progessing to where they can almost genetically track ancestry of a attackers DNA left on a victim to the point of building a actual face to that person based on ancestry.

Either another poster lied or they go back further than that, maybe some places probably due to long hair.

    Hey DreamTrucking

I was in the same boat as you with some issues in my background. I had no problems getting multiple job offers from a diverse group of companies.

I settled on Trans Am, heeding the advice of our resident truck company guru @Chinatown. Try to remember that with 6 mos to a year of verifiable experience pretty much the whole industry will open to you. Yes there are companies that will dq you for a "recent" dui, but most will overlook it once you hit the five year mark.

Trans Am is where I decided to go to get the experience to open doors to me that are currently closed. For me it was the right choice but you may find another "second chance" company to start out with that fits your wants and needs better.

I strongly encourage you to listen to the advice of @Chinatown, he has helped many, many people find jobs when they were having troubles getting started or were overwhelmed by the vast array of companies and types of jobs available.

Once I get tested out (Mon-Tues of this week) I'll get a solid date for orientation and then following @ethos suggestion I'm going to start a running thread from then on about my Trans Am experience.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.
