I would like to thank you all for the great info on here it helped me make through first week no hiccups. Got trainer today going to utah tonight. My opinion anyone lokking prime is the way to go. Good people and they seem like they actually care bout you. Also have never seen a trucking company offer amenity's to employees like they do here. Matter of fact most other companies dont either!

LOL Fruit is right lol Floating is easy, just make sure you remember how to shift "the right way" (aka double clutch for the test) After you get out here as a TNT, like me, you can drive normally. No "normal" comments from the fruit cake lol

Well it has bee one week and have logged about 40 hours. I meant to keep track of the miles but I will figure that out tomorrow. We pushed it real hard coming out of LA and made great time so today we only had to drive 7 hours to get to our stop. We went about 4 hours then stopped at a petro and did about an hour of backing as it was empty. Most of it was just moving the trailer around no real set manuevers. We just picked a wide open spot and got in it pulled out and went to another. We then set up on the back row as it was almost empty and I did straight line about 1/2 the row which was about twice the length of the course. It went real good. We then did an alley dock. I took two pull ups but got it in. Great time to learn to steer the tractor and drive the trailer.

We both have one goal to pull in to Spingmo practice a day then hit the trifecta as that makes us both look good. I got one third of it out of the way before we left. If timing works out I will have my cdl monday if not by the next week we will be done with PSD and move into TNT. I know that to each there own but Prime was certainly the right choice for me.
