I'm planning on moving to NC to be close to family. Probably Wilson area..

    Any disadvantages to that?

Not that I can think of... there are plenty of loads into and out of NC. Now, south FL might be a problem for hometime, but you're not going there!

Cool. If i get on with a tucking company I would like to live close to Wilson, which itself is only a few miles from I95.

Hey, Easy, ever eat at Parkers?

Might be good to stick with one idea. Trucking is okay, but I have never heard of tucking..... unless you mean cleaning hotel rooms... :biggrin_2559:

Not unless it is next to a truckstop

That is a problem. Sooo many good places that we go by... so few have anything close to parking for one of these behemoths!

Parkers has plenty of space for trucks. It used to be a truck stop. It's on the old original US Hwy 1. Well worth it. It's an institution. I'm 61 and I remember eating there when I was 6-7. That's how good it is. Google it.
