I'm a little curious exactly how they calculate the end of week MPG that gets sent out Tuesdays. The numbers I keep and what come thru on Tuesday usually vary by about .2-.3 each week in either direction. Is it taken based off what the "authorized miles" are when we send in a Mac27 and anything over that drops you down?
I'm just wondering, since this week I had 3 overgrosses with about 100 extra miles of wasted fuel getting scaled and returning to shippers. Is that going to cause my MPG bonus to plummet since on one of the trips it was 35 miles to the nearest scale (and 35 back) so 70 extra miles than were not "authorized" by the fuel stop program. Or does it go by ALL miles the truck goes regardless of how far out of route you go?
Thanks for the help as always.

Mpg is taken off the qc though I would imagine that the qc gets them from the ecm. I reset my trip meter on my dash every Sat morning or if im driving late fri night ill go to performance monitoring on the qc and watch for it to reset the mpg to all zeros like it does when you fuel and reset mpg or trip on the dash then. Usually thats around 1-2am central sat morning. The dash is usually accurate within a tenth and the weeks mpg consists of all miles. Also usually if I call my fm I can get the pay adjusted for something like that especially if its 100 miles in one week.
