Need to know who the good fleet managers are on the lease side in Springfield. Im wrapping up my tnt and am going lease out of the gate, and im going to have to find a new fleet manager as my current one is company only. I dont want to leave getting a good one to chance if I can avoid it. I have everything else in place, this is the last piece of.the puzzle for me.
Lets hear what you guys think about your current and/or former fm's.
Thanks!
let's talk fleet managers

Ive already got my head in the numbers man, and as ive said before I may be new to driving otr, but not new to the business. Im fairly comfortable with my grasp on the business, but I do appreciate the advice.
Who else? I think you guys like to try and hide the good ones lol, share!cometcruiser Thanks this. -
Jack cant think of hes last name but hes from jersey Never was on hes board but all I heard was good

Stay away from Chance. BTW... jumping straight from TnT, you most likely won't have a choice of an FM. -
He has been fed the line that he can make a boat load of money running his truck and he believes simply because he has business experience he knows all about running a trucking business. Yet he does not know anything about it, you know it, I know it.
All I say is good luck buddy, your going to need it, and don't blame us or Prime when.if you fail at it. And we all know if you fail you will not admit it on here. -
ask for jack, he'll keep you busy... you like to run team, right......

You guys want to sit.there and tell.me it cant done, or would you like to help me achive my goals. Im better out the gate as a "rookie" the 70 percent running lease now, ive got solid numbers backing up my decision, and pony, if thats all you been in the industry is 7 years, pipe down . Ive told my story.before, my family trucks. I dispatched a tl carriers 200 truck operation for 6, oilfield 2, heavy truck mechanic, business owner etc. Ive been out here since I was a kid. My money's fine, I have my bills minimized and savings maximized. Trust me, ill do just fine.
Asking.about a route? #### you lol, im simply double checking myself. First route was heavy on tolls, but more direct, second more miles. Trip me.up on something.and.ill rethink going lease, ask away. But ive done my due diligence, numbers make sense, and its an avenue im going to peruse. Sure theres gonna be a learning curve. Really appreciate the bs, but im here for advice on how to succeed., I would really appreciate some.good solid advice on how to make my lease more successful. thanks -
I get that you have crunched and worked the numbers and are salivating and chomping at the bit to make big bucks.. butt everything looks better on paper... it is when you add reality to it that you get a truer picture...
They gain nothing by you heeding or not heeding their advise from the knowledge and information they have aquired over the years... they also lose nothing... you are the one with everything to lose... or gain.. or break even for that matter. ?bobbybaldwin Thanks this. -
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I have no issue admitting when I fail, youll be the first I come to. You're also going to be the first person I show what im capable of. Stay tuned, and quit making assumptions lol.
