Yep... its easier to keep track of the emails. FAX the stuff, and send an email letting her know you did so.

I drive Flatbed and will never pull a van or refer, they work too hard. there is a reason Prime drivers pay for there straps and chains. Some drivers sell them and tell there Co it was lost or stolen.

That's my question lol, my recruiter told me after training and everything that I will make .43 cents a mile but I am wondering what kind of miles are people averaging a week ? I know the tricks are governed at 62 mph.

Mind you its all about averages... meaning you'll see weeks with both more and less miles, and there is a seasonal variation to it we call the freight cycle. 2400 miles per week is an accepted average. A number of years back, my company side average was a bit over 2800 miles per week.

Don't expect that right from the git go. Most folks see that build somewhat over time, simply because your FM most likely wont want to overwhelm you at first. Or not... depends on your guy runs things. There is a learning curve to this, as well as allowing time for your body to adjust to a new lifestyle and different sleep patterns. You'll also have to learn how the HOS regs fit into this, because if you don't have hours to drive available, you're not going anywhere. The trucks may be able to go 62 mph, but you will also be required to achieve a fuel economy of at least 7.5 mpg week over week. All of this will affect how many miles per week you can fit in, and none of this begins to address whether for not there is freight available to move.
