Had my final cardio consult this morning - Doc says he will write a letter that will state that I am completely normal and have no cardiac issues. Now the only thing is the CPAP and the 30 days. If I have to have 30 days before I report, then it looks like Jan 2015 for me. :biggrin_2552:

I'm coming in this Saturday and I'd like to take advantage of this suggestion. Who do I ask for permission to attend the Smith System class? I'd love to do my sims on Sunday. Where can I find Wally or Mike to introduce myself and ask for permission for that?

Smith class is at 8am every day. Be there early and you can ask if there is space to sit in.

The Sim/CBT room is same hall/same side as the cafeteria at the Campus Inn. It should be marked on the map you are given upon arrival.

My Prime quest is now over. At least 1 week ago I asked my recruiter - "Can I use my CPAP machine here at home before I come to Springfield for training and finish my 30 days to be compliant?" To date I have not had the courtesy of an answer. When I asked her this question she said she didn't know but would get back to me.

The issue is that I need to be on the machine for 30 days to be compliant - fine no prob. But I wanted to know if I had to complete the 30 days at home or could I finish the 30 days whilst training. Simple question right? I needed to know this so I could finish my plans on leaving home for an extended period of time.

I figure if this is the way they treat me when they want me, (approved in one day after application), how will they treat me when I am under contract for 1 year.

I have signed up with a local school for my CDL and will go with another company which is offering a sign-on bonus.

I appreciate all the responses you folks have made to this thread - I had thought Prime was my company and looked forward to working with you all.

    Kind regards

Hal380, when you're in classes pay attention to as much as you can. After the pretrip lecture and you're out In the parking lot where the instructors ( should ) have thier trucks out with the hoods open, get in and watch closely as the instructors explain in detail how the pretrip is done.
