I'm guessing that South Dakota will let you transfer your CDL from another state without doing all tests again? Getting a P.O. Box is a little harder than people think... You have to have an established location in the state before you can get a P.O. box but I have heard you can get a Box at the local UPS for a local address... Let me Know?

Yep......so true. However, they are one of the earliest families to settle there and carry on the corporation that was founded there in the late 1800's.

Weather in winter there much more to my liking, though, being the freeze baby I am. ;)

Vacant isolated acreage lots & move large RV. Can always put up doublewide or build if desired.

Rentals.......hell no! Been there....done that. I'm trying to SIMPLIFY my life! LOL

I understand... But... Does the land you are talking about buying have full hook-ups? What is the return that you expect on your investment if any? A lot of open land on RV lots tend to not get to much in return... Is this a land you plan on purchasing without much return? More or less an Investment in the land versus tieing up your money in an actual structure agreement? What happens if you rent your land to folks who are old and when they pass you see no income, and the family ( If any ) doesnt go through Probate and you are stuck at a loss for a couple months they didnt pay? How does this work? Of cource you can put a hold on the Estate but what if there was no money in the Estate? Are you hung out to dry on this? Like I say just curious... After people pass you have to go after the estate if money is owed to you, but if there isnt any money you are screwed... how are you thinking about going in this direction... I've thought about it but at the same time kind of worried... Normally when folks pass the bills etc cant legally be passed on to the persons that are left with the estate unless a certain amount of money is left in the estate... If no money is left in the estate what are you to do? Just curious? Every state is different, thats why I was curious to wonder what you are going to do as every state has different estate laws....

Yes they will except endorsements of course. The po box should be easy. South dakota has many mail forwarding services they specialize in this service and do it all the time. I recommend americas way which is located behind pilot/fling j in rapid city use they have a motel as well pretty nice rooms for cheap.

None of this applies to situation. I said SIMPLIFY, not complicate. LOL!

Places to crash on rare days I may take off for next few years. Been almost a year so far since any off. Places for few of my trucking friends to ditch out at. Absolutely no RV parks. No renting of land to anyone. Retired real estate appraiser that has already "been there & done that" with the rental circuit. Pain in the keester & to much wasted time.

Isolated peace & quite. No neighbors = Good neighbors. Off grid great. Perfectly comfortable living in back woods.

The ones prefered can eventually become more permanant.

    Seven states w/no income tax.

Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington state, Wyoming.

Tennessee & New Hampshire tax only dividend & interest income.

Texas & New Hampshire, however, do have highest real estate taxes in country

Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire & Oregon have no sales tax.

    PEACE
    ;)
