I think I'm done with prime..I found out from my dispatcher that their making a lot of drivers go back out and train because of the weather and accidents..I don't know if he was feeding me b.s. or not but either way I'm done...I've already been out 3 weeks and they want me to go out another month or so..negative

If that's what it takes to better the new drivers i'm all for it.Krazzyboi you know what's going to happen if you quit, you'll have to go thru the entire training process with your next company so be prepared for that.

I've never been s fan of prime, I can understand their position in training for accident prevention though. They should instead identify problematic drivers and retrain them. This is very similar to jb hunt where your guilty for everything just because you're a driver

It makes no sense, if a trainer cleared a driver that means the trainer believed the driver was good to go. -
more training PLUS it's a cheap per mile team. win win for Prime.
Shaggy, Mr.X, 123456 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Im all for more training if that's what it takes to keep our roads and ppl safe but you could very well be right.
teqntexas Thanks this. -
I been driving solo for almost 5 months

I didn't know you already have 5 months exp,I wouldn't be jumping ship just yet, maybe the drivers getting retrained are the ones that had accidents.Have you had any accidents at Prime?
-
Make sure you have a year with them or they charge $3k+ for the training you received.
