Yes the company you are going to will pay for it. Every company does it. I know it doesn't make any sense.

Hello and Welcome to the Site
As long as you have the Long Form DOT Medical Card, you are good, until it expires. Now,you may have to go through a company physical and such, depends on the company in which you are applying for.
Best of Luck!!! -
It depends on the company. Some will accept a current physical, if given with-in the last 90 days. Most want a new one. Smaller outfits will usually accept a current if un-expired.
Big Don Thanks this. -
Like everyone said, most companies will want to send you for their own physical.
I had two current ones in my pocket when I started my current job, and they still sent me for another one. Their policy is also to recheck all physicals in June/July, so they are sending me for another one despite the last one being less than three months old. -
As said, most companies will send you regardless for their own

My cvompany sent me for a new one, but after I had already worked there for 3 weeks, also thats when They did a drug test on me at the same time, no big thing, they paid for the DOT phs.
