Seussi Bright; I quit, getting help.. I left CRE. I very nearly had a nervous breakdown in Salt Lake City and the very idea of a truck over pick up size makes me sick to my stomach.
You all were right; it's not fair to put other people in that kind of danger. There isn't a DOT officer on the face on the planet that would OK me driving in that state.
But now I'm homeless. I'm staying with a friend for now. I can't find another job. I'm going in for a meeting at The Art Institution of California on Wednesday or Thursday. My boyfriend thinks I should have "kept my mouth shut" and his mom has decided that I am not allowed in their house (not even to see my cat)..
at least I know I did the right thing, but I'm scared. Thank you all for your support. I'm scared, but I feel better, somehow.

If your boyfriend isn't supportive of your needs, maybe you need to find a new boyfriend. Good for you to seek the help that you need.

WOW!
After reading your posts IMHO you are one big bucket o' crazy!
Please stop driving........anything! Not even a bicycle!
There is a tight fitting white jacket with your name on it!
I don't care if anybody feels I am politically incorrect, anybody with thoughts of suicide behind the wheel of a Rig should NEVER drive again.......EVER!

And yet her boyfriend thinks she should still be driving? How crazy/stupid is he for trying to push her into something that she knows she shouldn't be doing. She at least is sane enough to know she is crazy.

well good for you and your health. many others will have said (or say) that "every thing that happens, happens for a reason"....go on your way now to a better life and future for yourself, and get whatever help you need. sorry to say, i did NOT read your other thread, but this one, if your boy friend is NOT supportive of you, then that is one other thing you should "dump" and be rid of. no need to carry excess baggage that is heavy and burdensome.
best of luck to you and i hope your future gets brighter soon. (it has too, as you can only go UP from this day on)

You're smart enough to realize it's not for you - that puts you ahead of a whole lot more people out here than you'd believe.
I'm sorry it didn't work out. It's not for everyone, and how the hell can your boyfriend not realize this? I'm assuming he's in the industry, too? For a reaction such as telling you that you should've kept your mouth shut even though this clearly wasn't for you, doesn't exact show his best qualities as a significant other, and it makes me wonder exactly what kind of driver he is, as well.

Knock it off you clowns, severe depression is no joke in anyone's life.
Seussi, you did right so don't worry about that. Your BF is a jerk and deserves no place in your life. Right now you have one priority.... you. Get in touch with your state's health authorities now and get help. Depression is not something you can fight on your own. It's a powerful disease but it is a disease not a permanent thing. It can be beaten with treatment. You are NOT crazy...period.
BTW, leave kitty where it is for now. Once you get grounded you can get it back. Cats are great levellers. But dump ex-BF and his goofy mom. You certainly deserve better.

Ok, went back and re-read your other thread. Understand how you feel about BF. Scratch that. But right now concentrate on you.
