I got a load Going from Conover, NC to Modesto, CA 2,650miles :biggrin_255: Terminal to terminal load, so just get it there asap, no apt or anything.

    Here's the problem:

GPS says 41 Hour Drive, Here's my hours:

Hours Availible for Sunday = 19
Hours coming back sunday night at midnight = 3
Hours coming back monday night at midnight = 8
Hours Coming back tuesday night at midnight = 7.75
Hours coming back wensday night at midnight = 10.5

So the way i see it i can get the load there Thursday between 6am and 3pm depending on what time i leave and start on wensday morning. And still have a few hours left to run for the day...

    OR

I can stay home and do a 34 hour reset and leave Midnight sunday night/ monday morning and run 11 hours 700+ miles a day and get it there thursday afternoon/night and be out of hours for the day.

What would you do and why?

Should leave tomorrow morning or do a 34 hour reset?

Do the reset, getting 3 and 8hrs back will be a waste of time...Relax then blow it out!

I'm not 100% sure i wanna run 700+ a day for 4 days, then that will screw up my recap for next week, i dont wanna get stuck sitting all next weekend, i have no AC again, ca is to hot to sit lol.

When do i get to hold the steering wheel? I signed up to hold a wheel! This is too much thinking my head hurts! :biggrin_2559:

i was thinking the same thing---could limp out to modesto-take a 34--then book the truck in the shop for a couple of days after the 34 is up of course and have a bit of fun

i just wanna keep moving i hate to sit, i've run 3000+ miles a week for the last 2 weeks and i'm not far from being over 3000 this week. I wont have to do a 34 once i get there if i recap, i have better hours comeing back later on.

If it was me, I would run the recap, mainly cuz I can't stand waiting when I know I should be driving,. Plus, I don't like putting off what I can do today. You never know what could happen if you leave a day late, if you pace yourself at 9-10 hrs per day you should be fine. Just my point of view.
