    Howdy TN Neighbor,

I Will Start....... Stevens, Swift, Millis, FFE, Prime ,Roehl, CRST, RE West, Watkins Shepard, PAM, Wil-Trans and Milan have their own schools.

Now the companies listed above actually own their own schools and do not use other schools like these companies: Werner,Schneider, Premiere, UsXpress, Crete,TMC, Maverick, etc.

All these companies will do student finish training after you have attended any school, as long as that schools meets their qualifications, with the exception of Millis.....you must attend their school to attend their finish training.

The companies listed above are truck load carriers, some LTL companies do have their own local schools and training while not working on the dock. LTL companies like ABF, Conway, Estes, etc......do some training in certain cities where they have a need for city drivers and line haul. (see their website)

P.S. You have a great very affordable school about an hour from Sweetwater: http://www.ttcknoxville.edu/fulltime-programs/truck-driving. Its a state school, just $1400 plus books and license fees VS a few thousand for the fore mentioned company schools........plus no slave to a company. You might even be able to use the lottery grant to make it even cheaper if never used for any higher education.
