Werner wouldn't hire me with one 19 mph over speeding ticket. They're more strict than most people think, they just don't give their drivers IQ tests.

A bad driving record should keep you from a driving job. Just saying. It's not rocket science to see if you're not safe in a car, you may not be safe in a truck.
lagbrosdetmi, ChaoSS, bubbagumpshrimp and 2 others Thank this. -

I am a new driver having trouble getting a job because of my driving record. When I was 18 I used my recently deceased fathers money to buy a 1997 Pontiac Formula WS6 Ram Air. I accumulated a lot of tickets and did a lot of reckless and careless thing while in a bad mind state and while having the power of 350hp at the bottom of an immature and angry (mainly at my fathers death) foot. BUT. Now after 9 years since my last C&R ticket and growing up to be a well respected man that respects authority and wants to complete that 180 in his life I am confronted by past demons. I can assure you I can drive circles around you and most anyone on this thread. I also am VERY professional and take pride in all I do and am looking to put whatever companies brand I become a part of on my back and sponser them with the upmost articulated presence that I have in me. So I for one take your words hard and am sorry I came down a different road than you but I will be danged if I will let your words discourage me or break my dream. "Bad Driving Record" can be misleading and one should never turn their nose up because of it. -
Drive circles around almost everyone on this thread huh. What is that suppose to mean? You say you're professional, that remark makes me think otherwise. You have no clue about anyones driving record.I happen to be an excellent driver and as to why my company wants to keep me.
-
said nothing about anyone elses record but my own...I speak of driving ability...read the thread again...saying I am a professional and I have skill and my record is misleading...before you fire off at some one know what your taking about...
-
Im not firing off just talking. You can drive circles around anyone on this thread,Which to me you're saying you're a better driver then anyone on this thread.Therfore is why I said you don't know anyones driving record.Sounds like you're a bragger companies do not care how good of a driver you are, their insurance companies give the last call on who can get hired.Your mvr speaks volumes whether you're hireable or not. What is hurting you is a lot of tickets back in your younger days. Its not companies fault. If insurance won't accept you then their hands are tied.

mud23609 and lagbrosdetmi Thank this.

For starters Steeringwheel holder 444 you are ####y and companies don't want that. If you can't get hired by bottom feeders that should tell you something about you not being the great driver you think you are.
You might want to rethink your coming in here and insulting truck drivers.
