How exactly would you get a job doing that ? and I am assuming it must pay a lot more than normal right?

Doesn't really pay any more. I contacted Carlisle before and they said just send a resume they are always hiring. Put carlile trucking in google , thts the company they even have yards in the lower 48. BOL

it pays alot more. everyone thinks its no different but you make a big chunk in a short time. the downside is when its over its over

if thats true, they make little or no more, then color me surprised. and i second that..why would they do that for the same pay as lower 48 otr?

Is it really as bad as the show makes it seem? One show they make it sound like they are driving continuously and the next show they have to stop because they ran out if hours? It is reality tv so they are sensationalizing it and it is dangerous but is it as bad as they make it out to be?

ok...i had to look. this site says one of the guys doing it says they can make upwards of $250k for a season that lasts around 2 months. im assuming thats gross for an o/o, but still...not nearly the same as a "regular" driver. heck, thats better pay than they were offering for iraq.
