$1,000 a week net, guaranteed, after all deductions, is a very tall order. WOW!

I've averaged a net of $1120.00/wk YTD. That also takes into account a 6% 401(k) contribution and a 3% stock purchase contribution so it can be done. Plus I am home every day with all weekends off. There are guys in my barn into six figures........

Plenty of company drivers make more than 52,000/year -- few net $1000+ on 52 straight paychecks. It is a cyclical business & everyone's deductions are different...

Agreed. It takes me about $1650 gross to net $1100. Depending on one's tax and benefit situation, that number can vary greatly.

I take home a grand a week at Schneider bulk. If I stay out that is. Rarely does it go below that. I also live in Texas where there is no state income tax.

If it wasn't so #### hot and there werent so many #### scales I'd move to texas. Kinda sick of my state taxes but that's just me. Visiting my accountant is about like pulling teeth.
