absolutely.
you a poker player? -

yes, you need to drive. If you do a good job, move freight timely and are not troublesome to the company, I think that is easily obtainable provided you stay out and drive the truck efficiently. I'm fairly new to this business but I'm on track to surpass that number.

The U.S. Dept. of Labor & Training and the IRS stated the average earnings for an OTR driver in 2012 was $43,500 with $10,500 in deductions which was a 1.3% increase over 2011.
I have been driving 17 year and have always made more than except my first year, where if I remember correctly I made $35,000. But that was a while ago.
I'm a OTR training for the last 15 years or so and most of them tell me that's about what they make their first year as well even now a days. The real key isn't so much how much you make as much as is how much you spend living on the road. Truck stops are you worst enemy fuel, shower, and leave as soon as possible. Keep the left door shut and run them darn miles so you can make a live and be able to have home time to live. -
Depends on the company. You get mixed up with rats like England, CRST, Stevens others you might not make $15000.

When you consider at least a month and a half CDL school unpaid , waiting to get into orientation , then waiting for a trainer , 4 to 6 weeks low training pay , then waiting for a truck to solo at low pay you're very unlikely to achieve that goal the first year .

Its very possible, but dont go all in without a some cushion in the bank.I

Yeah, it all depends who you go with. With PAM I made somewhere what ure expecting, but with my new company I should almost double that amount but of course I've got a yr's xperience, so what I'm trying to say is in the long run you'll make more. Always remmber to Be safe above all else ESPECIALLY ure first yr.
-
yes you can make more than that ( keep the door closed)
Don't just learn to drive learn the politics of the business
