Hello All,
I will be separating from the military here in a few months and I want to start driving a truck. I have been looking around at alot of websites and all of the look good. I know that the websites can be misleading. So I thought that I would go straight to the source and ask some of the drives. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Good Companies to work for.

Conway Truckload, absolutely. Tell them unit #34126 sent you.

If you don't mind the extra work involved in flatbedding, Melton is a good company.

That is a very broad question because there are a lot different choices, like where you live and if you are looking for local work or Over The Road (OTR) work.
Then there is the question of what type of work you want to do. Here are a few to think about;
Dry van
Climate control (refrigerated)
Flatbed
- step deck
- gooseneck
- heavy haul (OD)
- Boat Haulers
Containers
Hoppers
Dumps
Tanker
- Dry Bulk
- Liquid
- Chem-tank
House Hold movers
Car Carriers -

Aireal, can you give us a little information about Melton? The good things, the things you live with, how many miles, where do they run? They have a good enough website, but nothing like inside information. Thanks.
