Good flatbed or tankerI company that hires out of Louisiana. I'm working for prime right now but I want a list of good companies that will not have me out 3-4 weeks at a time.
good companies with good home time

Look no further than Averitt Express. We have an expanding flatbed division. We have terminals in Louisiana and hire out of there. We have good hometime, home weekly sound good to you? Plus good pay, medical benefits, paid holiday and vacation pay, 401k, profit sharing. Send me a message if you want more info.
Milkman719 Thanks this. -

what is so bad about wearing a button shirt and black pants? What would you want to Daisy Dukes? If he wants to be home more often wearing a button up shirt aint to bad.

Some other things I liked about them: Most terminals had truck washes, fuel, drivers lounges, and showers and the owner was pretty cool. Someone asked him in orientation why he started a trucking company, he replied "Cause I needed a job". I thought that was pretty cool.Last edited: Apr 19, 2014

Stay with them, I think its 6 months and the uniforms are free. They deduct out of your paycheck if you leave earlier than that. They also do have a fuel bonus and I do believe they pay for tarping the load. I am van side so I don't know flatbed. -
SVTN runs a lot of Interstate-10 and the annual pay is way above average.
They have a terminal in St. Gabriel.
Here's some more with local or oil industry local work around Baton Rouge. Ignore "experience required" and apply anyway.
