If everything goes okay with your DOT physical, the physical is good for two years. But if you change jobs and go with a different company do you have to get another DOT physcial even if it hasn't been two years since your last one?

No, as long as you have the ORIGINAL LONG FORM (not your med card) of your physical, you can show any prospective employer that you have a valid physical. The drug screen ,of course, you will have to take again.
But no long form, then turn your head and cough... -
Most company's it standard practice, they will give you another DOT physical.
-
But of course it depends on the company. -
I have the same opinion as Mik: Most companies will not accept another DOT physical as they are not sure it was really a valid doctor. Now again you might find another company that accept it. So all you can do is ask the company you would like to apply for. The physicals should be company paid so why not just renew it for another 2 years, unless you are a little leary on something everything should be fine. -
The only companies that will allow a driver to keep their physical from another company is the "mom & pops" and that is because they are cheap.
