Melton Question on pre hire drug screen and physical

    I was told that Melton will send you home from orientation if you do not have enough hair or if its too short to test. I have very little body hair and short hair on head because I am mostly bald. Anybody know Meltons hair test? How long it has to be and how much? I might just wait and grow it out if I have too. Melton is the best company I have found so far after researching and talking to drivers. I am a recent truck driving school graduate. Thanks for any info

    There are several type"s of tests. There is 5 panel"s 9 & 12. they want 1.5 inches of hair, witch goes back 3 months. that is the most common amount of time back they will go because of cost but if they want to they can go back 3 years, and it dos"t have to come from the head, it can be beard, chest, underarm, leg.

    Thanks! If I want to go with Melton I am going to have to wait. I am limited to the trucking companies I can work for because of my location (central Michigan)

    I always shave my head and when I went through they took armpit. They use anything but pubic hair.
