Really it should be specified on your license if you are able to drive one or not. (We both were making fun of the autos of course). But hey ....it happened in Canada already.

Yup. Been federal for a while now. I don't own ANYTHING with an automatic...not even my lawn mower! Personally I can't stand the wretched things.

Only time I want auto is when I'm in a 3-8 mile back up my knee does get sore but other then that. Heck no!

With traffic projected to get much worse in the next 20 years, I think you will see stick shifts as dinosaurs, and automatics become a standard especially in big cities.
