In the state of illinois when you get a ticket you can get supervision which keeps the ticket from being reported to insurance companies and being put on your record as long as you dont get another on for 90 days. So my question is would i still have trouble finding a job since the insurance company wont know about the ticket?

Supervision doesn't keep anything off a CDL.

The supervision has to end before you get your CDL in IL. otherwise it goes on your record as "Supervision conviction". It is on mine like that. Once you get your CDL you can never get supervision again

Sure would be nice to know when a speeding ticket is going to hike your car insurance rates and when it isn't. I actually left the industry after getting a 16-over-the-limit speeding citation in a small-town speed trap three years ago, shortly after purchasing a second car. I thought for sure it would cause my rates to skyrocket, not just on one car but two. Nothing ever happened. Did thoroughly enjoy the year I took off, so maybe the ticket was a blessing in disguise.
