I plan on putting in for knight, usa trucking, and transport america tomorrow. i will update with more later. I'm still waiting for response form Schneider and Crete.

I went with Crete. I am halfway done with my 8 week training at 500 a week. Pulling dry van. When solo it is 34 cents a mile and after 1 year you go up to 43 cents a mile. Newer equipment. I am pretty happy so far.

Don't know anything about super services, transport america is having some change going on as they were recently acquired by someone else, stay away from usa, knight, mixed bag of reviews, schneider, mixed bag as well, but not too bad, several others have done ok with them.... Now Crete, I have talked with several people (drivers in person, on this forum, significant others, etc), and have heard good things about them.... Those would be my top 2 from what you have listed, Crete first, Schneider second, now don't know anything about super services.... good luck -

I don't have my CDL yet, I am going to school for it. and the only issue i have with Crete is the distance and i haven't gotten anything from them to ask about if they pay for training, or if they have a terminal close to my location. but i know they higher right out of my school. and thanks for the input guys.

I paid $5000.00 cash for my CDL school. And I thought I wanted a company to have tuition reimbursement. I looked at it this way- say US Xpress pays you 30 cents a mile but gives you $150 a month tuition reimbursement. Let's say after 6 months you quit there to get a better job. All you got for tuition reimbursement was $900 back out of $5000.00. The new company you go to will not consider you a student anymore so the reimbursement stops. You would have to work 32 months to get the full reimbursement. I personally would rather have the higher paying miles and consider the $5000.00 an investment in myself. So not getting a" reimbursement" doesn't really matter. That 4 cents a mile adds up to over a $100.00 a week in my pay at 2500 miles. That's $400 a month compared to $150. -
