Would like to know if anyone has some insight on a PAT for ferrelgas or a similar company. Any pointers or tips or what to expect? Thanks

I should mention its a class b position, local delivery, classified as bulk delivery position

Might be A small bottle gas del. where you restock those racks at gas stations? 22lbs tanks lift an put in rack at shoulder hight, or roll tall tanks by leaning them an holding cap, ATL. gas light had a test like that before you could hire on driving their del. trucks.

Well maybe I'm over-worrying, I've been trying to find info on it,and by the "recommendations before taking the test" part of the email I got, it sounds like its going to be really strenuous. I'm probably just nervous. I'm in good shape, have to lift beds, heavy liquid and gas oxygen tanks at my current job, just didn't want any surprises lol. I believe it is those 22 lb tanks and there are some larger ones, also lp on a bobtail truck.

Does anyone think that there would be a test involving heart rate or pulse with a limit to how high it is allowed to get?

Thanks for the replies

Took the physical ability test, my heart rate was 93 rest, during the 3minute step routine it went to 133. Don't know what the recovery was. And I am sick, to add to it. To me that seems pretty high. Company has a threshold but don't know what it is yet. Guess I will be finding out tomorrow.

So what was the outcome? From what I've heard and experienced the heart rate requirement is so low that people who are in great shape will fail that test after stepping on a step for 3 minutes at the pace they require.
