Hi,
I have less than a year living in USA and recently i got my regular driver license. So i have a few questions:
1)Can i be accepted in some of the big carriers company school programs with my new license??
2)if a have a NY CDL permit, can i take the training and road test exam in another state?
interested in trucking with recent driving license in USA need orientation

You will need an original birth certificate and social security card-not laminated. All companies require this for new drivers for their first job. -
Did you travel here on a visa that allows you to work? Are you a permanent resident? Many companies want a green card which if you have only been here a year I doubt you have. The insurance companies may have a problem with your lack of regular driving experience. When I moved here many many moons ago from England I came on a work visa and had to stay 3 years before being allowed to apply for a green card, rules may have changed. Call anyways, good luck. -

i forgot to ask, i need to have the CDL permit to apply, and if yes, can i have the permit CDL here in NY and make the school in the state that the company assign? or how that works?

No you will have to get your CDL permit in Illinois when you get to there school .I just talked to eric one of the recruiters for henderson and he said I would have to get my permit again once I get to there school even though I already have my permit from Indiana ...
