Buy a truck and tow your car?

    I rented a car to go look at truck and once deal was struck, dropped off the rental and drove the truck home. I'm thinking that would be a cheaper route I'd think than building a one off hitch to tow vehicle home, unless you were going to be towing personal vehicle a lot.

    Be careful on that too. Not many cars are "ok" to tow very far without pulling the shaft.

    Just sayin....

    yep esp autos, it can happen in manuals as well. but sadly not many manuals out anymore

    I have done it, but I didn't tow the car in the traditional sense, I mounted it on the fifth wheel
