Rrx Placement Waiver From Roadmaster

I want to keep all u fellow truckers abreast of my progress since anyone whos read my last few posts knows im a Felon just getting his start in this industry. "Bottomfeeder" trucking companies are my best bet at this point so I'm gonna be swimming with the Catfish and Suckers for a while till I prove my self. But anyway heres a copy of the Waiver For Placement that Roadmaster makes Blue Collar guys like me sign before attending school. Enjoy.

ROADMASTER DRIVERS SCHOOL

PLACEMENT WAIVER
Roadmaster’s goal is to provide our customers with the best training we can develop. We sincerely want every applicant to be accepted, properly prepared for the Trucking industry, and to obtain lucrative employment. We believe individuals should be treated as individuals regardless of backgrounds pertaining to driving records, work history, or criminal history. Unfortunately, the transportation industry, their insurance companies, and regulatory agencies do not adhere to our philosophy.

Trucking companies will not hire individuals who do not meet their hiring standards. They have standards for driving records, criminal records, and non-verifiable employment history. Does this mean that if you’re disqualified from one company that no other company will hire you? NO. There are many trucking companies in business today with less stringent hiring standards. Roadmaster partners with the industry leaders in trucking. As leading companies, they can be more selective. Because of Roadmaster’s desire to place our top graduates with the top companies in the industry, we do not partner with small trucking companies that find it difficult to compete with the leading carriers for drivers.

If you have a background problem, you will more than likely need to seek employment at a smaller and/or less stringent carrier. This will require you to seek carriers that the school does not normally partner with. This is something you will need to pursue independently. Our Placement Department cannot be held responsible for your employment options or offers.

Since the smaller and/or less stringent carriers do not generally offer tuition reimbursement, our finance department will not be available for student loans. The finance office will, however, assist you in procuring a loan through your own bank or researching other means of paying for your training without you incurring debt through one of our lenders.

Should you decide to enter training, you may still use our placement department; however, you will be using it only as an advisory source. Our Placement Department can assist you with proper application procedures, interviewing techniques, and assessing career objectives.

I _________________________ have read the above and fully understand the restrictions upon my employment opportunities in the trucking industry. I understand and have made Roadmaster Drivers School aware of my background problem, which is
  • Motor Vehicle Record: _____________________________________________
  • Employment History: _____________________________________________
  • Criminal Record: _____________________________________________
  • Other (Explain): _____________________________________________
I understand that in order to enter Roadmaster’s training program I must be able to supply my own financing and hereby agree to relieve Roadmaster Drivers School of any responsibility for placement in the position for which I am receiving training.
