If you've read this thread the way the rest of us have, then my advice would be to tell them "no."

I am reading a lot of negativity about CoreTrans but I'm starting there Monday. Need the local they offer to get back up and running. I know the recruiters personally and have for quite some time. Things have changed there. Yes the owner is a huge baby who was raised wealthy and believes he deserves whatever he wants when he wants. They now have a guaranteed pay package of 950 a week. Of course there are stipulations to it....no tickets, no preventables, and no late deliveries or pickups.....as long as you communicate well if you are going to be late due to uncontrollable circumstances like traffic just keep in touch with them and if won't count against you. They hire out of WV OH and KY I'm not sure of anywhere else.

Lets face it, everyone has good and bad experiences with every company. I've never had issues with any company that I've been with but I know plenty who have. I could listen to these reviews and honestly, there's a negative review by drivers on almost every company you can think of, that's just the way it goes. If you want to work there try it yourself, every situation isn't the same for every single person.

Just my opinion and I"ve not started driving for them yet but I'm sure if it's horrible I'll just find another job, not a big deal.

We hope it's not a waste of time for you as well brother, having known the recruiter for awhile personally might give you some inside pull at the office if this way of doing business continues everyone involved might as well start looking for another job, because without drivers they won't have a job, sometimes those like the owner get stuck in "la la land" and end up getting smacked with reality.... Good luck with those people

You are very true with what you say calyeacl. My exp with them was worse then i had had at us xpress or total or werner. I tried to stay in touch and let them know what was going on but i got loads late and was expected to get it there in time. Not a company iwould advise but to some they might be just what your looking for based on where you live. Me myself i went to a company call South East Carriers based out of Lawerencesburg TN, best company i have been with since i started driving. Kinda of a pain to get me loads home as i live in east TN and they rarely deliver east of lebanon. But to be treated like a human and not a mule or seat cover is very nice.
