Bulkmatic transport beware

I'd be interested to know how they pay and are local positions a possibility right of the bat because I wouldn't be interested in OTR. Do they train you how to operate the dry bulk trailers?

 

Do they train people with no bulk experience but have OTR experience?

 

Yes. Bulkmatic does train drivers on how to operate the bulk tanks. They send new drivers thru a training program at the corporate office for a week. You are also put with a driver trainer until you get the hang of it.

Sorry man. But if you think Bulkmatic is bad, Don't go to Lazer Tank or Quality Carriers #896 in Tampa Fl! You will blow a gasket when you hear the lies they tell. Oh the wonderful promises. You talk about scammers! Hell they wont even tell you what your getting paid for! I guess if they hide the driver charges from you, they can pocket it for themselves. Oh and your paycheck!!! You have to watch everything and i mean everything you report on the pay sheets. They don't don't pay attention very well to pay sheets. So your check can be off by any where from $100 to $500 aweek.
Ask anyone that has worked for Tampa 896 terminal or should i say scrap yard. This place is trashed! Go ahead , drive by the so called terminal #896. You wont believe it!

Former O/O with more than 30 years in the business, closing in on second year with Bulkmatic and I'm tired of running up against the clock cause it's just wears me out and the lack of family time because it seems my ### is always in the seat of the old daycab.
Not the worst company I've worked for but certainly no wear near the best.
