My partner is currently with Koch Trucking - another of those companies that make promises and don't keep them and out and out lie just to get you in...Koch is one of those idiot companies that are going to paperless logs before they HAVE to. That was only the last straw. They had been playing around with his miles, not providing updated information on loads, disrupting home time (including not getting him home when he was suppose to be) and so on. He had submitted a two weeks notice after finding a new company. he was to be home for home time the weekend before his last day (the FOLLOWING weekend). They started giving him trips that basically kept him near the Minneapolis terminal until finally telling him they were NOT going to get him home and if he didn't like it, go to the terminal and empty the truck! (Fortunately, his NEW company is taking care of him. UNfortunately, it means he won't get to come home and leave behind any extraneous things that he could pick up later!)
Long story short, Do NOT go to WORK for this company! They are petty, childish, uncommunicative and a few CHOICE words that I won't put on a public forum!
Stay awa from koch trucking!

i would have to disagree with you post about koch, they are a great company and have giving me nothing but a home for 2 years with no problems. just like any other company it works for some and some it doesn't. And maybe it wasn't koch that did anything wrong.

Sounds like someone didn't think trucking through and find an appropriate niche for themselves.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, I think that Koch probably works better for people that live along the I-35 corridor. To me if you live in Alabama you may not get the home time you need. Just a thought.

From what I've heard, the trick to being happy at Koch is to get on one of their dedicated fleets. It's night and day between dedicated fleet and their general OTR. This is true for a lot of companies, but this is especially true for Koch. I don't think that they're a bad company, just that their OTR side is a shambles.
