1,000 miles overnight? They expect you to run over 100mph?

    Just asking.

Criminal activity in trucking is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

An Employer may terminate an employee for any reason or no reason or cause at all. An employee's disagreement over his or her firing "without cause" does not mean that he or she has a valid legal claim of wrongful termination. However, if the reason for termination is a pretext for underlying illegal reasons, the action can result in a protracted lawsuit with hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages and attorney's fees at stake.

I grow tired of the word FORCED, forced to do this, forced to do that. There is not one driver out there that is forced to do anything unless he agrees to do it. period.

You are correct. The one carrier I was 'forced' (not really, no one sat there with a gun to my head) to run illegal at I left mighty quick. In fact I wasn't forced, it was done under severe duress though. Which is the better term to use when they threaten your job and livelihood.

The reason they use the word forced is probably a lack of the use of the proper term coerced.

It is not unusual for an employee in any situation to feel pressure. Not just in the trucking industry.

Let me ask you a very difficult question. Are you and anyone that drives for that company that hard up for a job that you would even consider doing it?
