Well i am working for this company and let me tell you, this company is horrible to their drivers. Fatigue, lies about loads, mis information about routes, underpaid, their directions to get there is from a piece of printed paper from google maps....google maps with NO bridge clearance markers, their trailers should of been scrapped a good decade ago, their trucks "most of them" are held up by duct tape, the trucks get DOT inspected by their maintenance... meaning that the paperwork is doctored with a new inspection tag stating it passed but in reality it failed, and best of all... you dont get treated like a human but like a dog by dispatch.If you are desperate and loking for your first 6 months to get on your license then this is the place, but to stay here as a permanent profession professionally then you are crazy and here is why. You gotta double check what maintenance just fixed because they will say its done but really it wasnt. There is not enough spare trucks or trailers that are up to DOT standards...even for their state but yet somehow they are road worthy. My family has a long history of drivers, their knowledge and experinces taught down through the generations to me, the behnke company presented to me that their trucks are in excellent condition including their trailers.... what he didnt say was those trucks and trailers where for otr and heavy loads. So i have worked for them for over a year, unsafe trailers, barely running trucks, with a maintenance department loosing their best mechanics because even they say that behnkes equiptment is too far gone to work on it and they wont be responsible for all the repairs done to them throughout the years. Best part is when behnke sold his new location to denso for three million dollars, he spent that money in Ireland...for three months straight and not a penny to repairing or getting new or used equiptment for his company. Many drivers have to work holidays, no employee appreciation days, just a bonus check near Christmas and thats it.... a whole $50 plus $50 every year you stay on with them. There is no incentive to stay there at all. And to put the cherry on the top, one of their "my" dispatch yard lays in the middle of the slums, so i wonder if i will still have my tires or car when i get off work.

 

Shame on you both for driving em.... This company wouldn't exist without warm bodies in the driver's seat
.... Atleast now any driver looking at them will have an idea of what they might be stepping into
