well the problem with NOT doing anything is others become victims..isnt that what this page is for...?? to warn others etc??? ..thats whats wrong with the industry today..no backbone!!!!!!!!!!!!1

What they mean is that there isn't anyone in the Ft. Wayne office at all. Everyone is in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

 

Can you pm me with the information on how to join the class action? My wife and I team drive from June 2012 til April of this year. we got tired of being ripped off.

 

Megatrux just got e-logs just before my wife and I quit. They were reportedly getting their prepass back at the end of this month. I'm looking into joining the lawsuit. We started out in one truck and got switched into another and the recruiter kept saying we would be behind on payments when settlements said they were taking out double payments. The trucks kept breaking down and the head dispatch which is a son of the owner who keeps dragging his feet to get work done on the trucks.

 

Did you actually make any money fleasing from these people?

 

When we first started we was doing good for like a couple of months, then it went down hill after that. We ended up broke. One poor driver has lost everything and I'm talking house, car, the whole 9 yards and when he brought it up in a driver meeting all they could say was that KC was 2 mil in debt trying to keep trucks for the drivers. They charge for everything including my wife to being able to drive, any time the truck was in the shop we was charged for it, charged for fuel and other engine liquid. We don't really know what all they were taking out of the weekly settlements as we never saw any settlement sheets. One dispatcher will give you a load and another will change it on you before you get to the shipper. We've had a dispatcher call three times this week alone to give us loads when we aren't assigned to any of their trucks and the truck we did have is currently in the shop because the dashboard went out on the way back to the yard.

 

A friend who still drives for them has let us know that the company has started to withhold payments for completed loads so the drivers are going without payments plus the son in charge of the dispatching and repairs is taking his sweet time approving mechanical work on the trucks. One truck waited for 4 days before they were able to get the repair work approved so it could be done which is beyond stupid.
