The Labor Commissioner does not handle class action violations everything they do is "One on One"
The Labor Commissioner does not suggest or write new laws to help protect the welfare of employees again they are simply administrative.Rollover the Original Thanks this. -
Really then why did I get a phone call along with several other past employees, giving statements on how Hendrickson does business. written and signed and yes it was an attorney for the cal. state. unfair labor board that called me.

Time Traveler,
did you get a name and or a contact number?
Private message me I would sure like to give them a call. -
yes I did it is at home I will be there tomorrow and post it for everyone. They are trying to put an end to the unfair wages and hours the drivers are being made to work and I don't know for sure but this could lead to a full blown class action suite or maybe the end of ward and hendrickson the more people that come forwards with the info they are looking for the better.

I called several state government offices today and the response is so typical "Ah, I don't Know"
I look forward to getting some information
Thanks -
While I certainly cannot speak to each of your specific issues regarding Hendrickson Trucking, I definitely CAN discuss my own experience with them. Quite honestly, I have never had any problems with this company at all. They pay a fair wage and have always kept me busy in the nearly 4 years I've been with them. The vast majority of the other drivers currently working for them whom I've had the opportunity to speak with share my opinion. So, I'm left wondering how accurate all these posts truly are? Sounds to me like a bunch of "wannabe" drivers couldn't hack it and now have nothing better to do than speak slanderously about a company that has been nothing but fair and beneficial to me in my own experience. Just my two cents. Be safe out there!

Dang , if that is wondering. i would hate to see what you write when you have made your mind up.
In your entire career at Hendrickson how many drivers did you survey to come up with such a definitive opinion? 50?100? When did you find time to drive?
The fact that you describe a OTR carrier as fair who pays a piece rate that when all is said an done borders on minimum wage. Shows how utter naive you are to what is fair. Or you where so desperate and now happy to have a job, you don't mind getting bent over a barrel on a daily basis.
Sir, your post is a complete fail. Or you bumped your head on the way to the keyboard. Just my 2 penny's. -

Are you sure You work for Hendrickson cuz SO did I, and while some of what is said is a bit far fetched for the most part it's true. I do not know who you are on bended knees for but you are on them if you say it's a good honest company.
