Trucks running crazy all over the oil patch, but not us! We are told "that's the oil business" but I see there are many different water hauling companies running 24/7 while we have no drivers on the road! If you want to make big bucks working the oil field, find another company!! I did!!

Most likely lost contract or can't get more contracts.

Do you have consistent work now? We are in the water hauling business in North Dakota as well and have had a terrible time keeping our trucks busy. Any suggestions on a good company to get leased on with?

Wait a second, I thought there was this BIG, BIG oil boom going on up there and a big need for trucks/drivers.

Probably the same old song and dance.

    1. Owners don't like having to pay living wages.
    2. Talk about a "shortage" to get more labor supply in the field and area.
    3. Once desperate applicants flood in the labor supply increases beyond demand.
    4. Owners are able to lower wages now since there is a labor surplus.
