that was a typo error they owe me $14000. but if there are a lot of people who would like to get together and sew them let me know. But theses loosers probably already changed their numbered company and we would be S.O.L. I WOULD LIKE TO POST CLASSOFIED ADS next to theirs when they are recruiting drivers to warn them lol

they get paid for their loads with in 24 hrs of proof of delivery because they deal with freight factoring so that makes it hard to put a lien on their accounts recievable

Their addresses are on their website. That said, if you enter the Alberta address into Google Maps it does not give the correct location. The actual location is at the intersection of Range Road 285 and Township Road 300, NE corner. That is the family farm. I don't know the accuracy of the California address.

If you need the addresses for the purpose of serving them or seizing equipment, good for you. If it because you are thinking of working for them or doing business with them, stay away! I lost a big chunk being associated with them.

They had lost the U.S. authority for the Canadian company due to wrecks, violations, etc., and not paying the fines. So, they just set up an American company and carried on, right where they left off. This has happened numerous times. It would be nice if the FMCSA could shut them down and permanently bar the entire Spady family from ever being involved in the ownership of a carrier, or freight brokering. It would also be good for shippers and receivers to avoid doing business with them, or any companies like them. Sadly, most shippers and receivers care about one thing only and that is getting their product delivered for the cheapest rate possible; they would do business with the Devil himself if the rate was right. They have left a wake of unpaid bills from Alberta to California and all points in between.

Well, I would like to think that shippers choose to do business with this guy in good faith, and if they know they real story they'd go elsewhere.

Most of them want reliable people to move their product, and want to be secure that it will reach its destination.

I still have not been able to collect the money due to me for loads that I delivered for First Continental Freight, out of Carstairs, AB, Canada. It is a total sham, everytime Kevin answers the phone it is always "not this week". When will it ever be appropriate to pay your drivers for money they collected for you by delivering your loads??? Does anyone know who to complain to since I was a subcontractor and paid by 1099?? They have a location in California as well as Alberta. Any help would be so appreciated. Thanks.

For newbies, DO NOT DRIVE FOR FIRST CONTINENTAL FREIGHT in Carstairs, AB, Canada. You will not get paid.

When you say you were a subcontractor paid by 1099 I assume you were driving their truck? If so, then it was most likely not a legal arrangement. Whatever state you were hired in and/or MT might be good places to start. Also the IRS would probably like to know about their shenanigans.

I took them to the Ca labor board and won ! when I quit in 2012 they owed me $3,000 after months trying to get my money from Glen, hahaha right!
I even told him give me 1/2 the money he owed me, nope so now I won my judgement not only for the money owed but also vacation pay! plus penalties he now owes me $11,023 bad news is the labor board doesn't make them pay, I have to do that on my own, be it a lawyer, marshalls office etc. but I will get it!

Congratulations on the win, good luck on collections.

The family farm is/was the head office location for the company, so it may be possible to seize some items there if necessary. Also, they may try and hide stuff at Lyle's property (up towards Olds / Bowden area, not hard to find by doing a Google search), or Mike's (just south across the coulee from Glenn's).
