Super Aggregate, part of Super Mix

Do not work for Super Aggregates, or parent company, Super Mix....., if you can help it. They will work you til you drop, all for percentage, not hours. They have no clue as to what the FMCSA is or how they work. They routinely stop payroll in late Fall, and pay CASH, but still take 20, 25% out of the CASH (who knows where that goes) and encourage you to claim 'laid-off' to collect Unemployment. If you have ANY integrity, do NOT work here. I cannot believe that these companies have gotten away with this for all these years. (No one will turn them in, as they are basically accomplices and would be turning themselves in also) Bad Kharma...Stay AWAY.............

 

I liked doing what I was doing, decent truck, etc.... but like that quote below, there is only so much time in a day. I told the guy many times, after he dispatched me/us after we were told to come in, to another job or to make a pickup that took us out of the way and paid after traveling, dumping, about 7 bucks an hour, that it is crap that we have to work so many hours and turn around and get right at it again in the morning, then he would after describe to me that the stack of applications on his desk is so high. Many times I screamed at him that "It is easy to say when you are sitting behind a desk, and not out here doing it" I was let go basically of Union involvement and pushing to get Pre-trip/Post trip regulations followed. he also may have seen where I was keeping track of my time while behind the wheel, and didn't like when I told him that I was out of hours. YET, this company thrives.....
