    No joke.

I wasted $250 on them to try and get a CDL.

They are a company based out of Texas.

They basically try to get people looking to get an easy CDL to go through them.

It sounds good and looks good-especially on youtube, but when I wanted to get a refund from their unprofessional services, they refused.

I took a look at the contract and was thinking-man these guys are out to make money AND set you up to fail.

The guy told me on the phone-didn't they tell you there is no refunds?? Um, no. well I'll be darned bro.

I didn't see it on your cheesy website or hear it over the phone or in person or on anything TILL after I paid the money.

Then I happened to notice a little note-no refunds. Nice.

Don't get con-D into that one guys.

They are NOT a trucking school. They are good at the school of BS though. And taking your money.

Can you get a CDL through them? Well, never say never guys, but... be prepared to spend a lot of money or lose a lot of money, as in my case.

I've sometimes found the BBB a reliable intervention, when people either say that you OWE them money OR they stole your money.

Check out the contract to go take your test and they'll milk you for more money than a hound dog on a boars *****. Wait I was the hound dog trying to get milk. I must admit, it didn't work out very well.

Don't take my word for it though. Just go try it for yourself.

Go C.R. England. Not the best company out there, but good for getting your license. Heck. They practically give you the answers to the tests, and you don't have to worry about inspections because the offices here don't require one to be done when testing. They give you about a week in the classroom just to prep you for the CDL tests. Once you get the CDL they teach you to drive. Now, if you have the money and you just wanted to go for the schooling, you could pay them a couple thousand and be done with them, or, work for them for 6 months and you get the schooling free.

The pay sucks but hey, easy place to earn your first 6 months which will help with getting other jobs elsewhere that pay better. I worked for them for 8 months and can say they are decent company and you could possibly enjoy driving for them if you ignore all the bad hype about them. People enjoy talking crap about England but half of what they say is lies cause they are the drivers that like to stop at EVERY truck stop they see instead of drive the long haul.

Warning about them though, unless you know how to successfully run a business and its finances, don't fall for leasing from them. They set you up to fail, unless, like I said, you know how to run a company and its finances, or two, you train. I wonder if I still owe them $8k or if they waived it after I quit :/.

not to be a jerk on here or anything, but why not go to trucking school the old fashioned way and put the time in. I have seen their ad on youtube, when she wears the tight little shirt and the high heels and then gets in the truck and thinks she is in 1st gear and the camera stays on her chest most of the time. you honestly thought you can cheat the system and get your cdl in a few days without putting your dues in, didnt ya?

I hope the govt puts some kind of law into effect that places like that never be allowed to operate. i put in 12 weeks of trucking school, then put in almost 17 years on top of that and i still dont know everything there is to know. and guess what, i still dont know how to chain up and i never ever want to learn.

my point is, you get what you paid for, you wanted to try and get it easy and it back fired on you. try doing it the old fashioned way, you will be much better off in the end and you will learn alot more of course ....

future refrence, any place willing to take short cuts like that, stay away from all of them. and for the companies that say they will train you if you sign a contract to work for them after, again, stay away. they will get their money out of you one way or another if you stay or leave .....

    I hear ya.

I was thinking that they were going to train you(like over days) though to help you get the CDL. Whoops. 2 hours in the truck to get familiar with it is not exactly training you to learn how to drive a big truck. Didn't read or look enough into it.

I was hoping to get a federal grant to help pay for some trucking training, but there's a waiting list and who knows when that money will come in locally.

Well, you need to pay your dues somehow and simply learn how to drive. If you don't, then you're probably going to get into an accident or hurt someone or yourself.

For me I was also looking at the financial risk involved of paying some money to try these guys out or pay or borrow lots of money to try and go to a trucking school. The cheaper option seemed less risky, but I didn't get much out of it. Got some study tests and material that you could probably find plenty of that stuff online for free and have my CDL permit, but no CLD and no real training.... :(

Heard that, I had a few words about them not too long ago on another post on this site, The first time I came across their add on YouTube, I thought..."hmm...they were successful in luring me in with the ole girl, BUT the second I started watching and saw her hop in the truck and not really KNOW what shes doing, not to mention the lack of on camera communication I knew it was a joke.....sigh....the things some people will do to earn a quick buck, pleasing to the eyes none the less....:biggrin_25525:

I get a sense this post is personal and the person that posted it is butt hurt, because in my intereaction with them, I have had professional and courteous service. I am the Vice President of a company based out of Dallas. I found them on the internet, and I called them to get more information. I spoke with Jennifer, and she told me the $250 advertised is the down payment to get the process started. She also told me there was an additional $140 due when the driving portion is scheduled, or it can be paid all at once. After conversing with Jennifer about what they offered, I signed up a couple of my guys to get their CDL. They were very professional and courteous. They sent my guys materials to help them pass the written portion of the test, and then on the day they scheduled the driving portion of the test, they met with them early that morning to get direction and offer critiquing to assure they pass the driving portion. In addition, they also provide their truck and trailer for you to take the test. The person above states they are not a driving school, and that is correct. You can spend over $3000 and go to a driving school if that's what you desire, or you can spend under $400 and get your CDL with their help. I would highly recommend them for anyone that has any experience at all, because they set you up to succeed. What more can you ask for? Both of my guys scored extremely high on both the written and driving portions with their help.
