American Truck Group is a scam operation that will sell you a auction block junker, stick you with a outrageous payment and then with 8 weeks will Repo you. You will also be lucky if you make it to the state line before it breaks down. I am trying to warn anyone before they lose everything they hhave. All you need to do is check out WWW.ripoffreport.com or WWW.pissedconsumer.com they have over 100 complaints. I am trying to help out as many hard working truckers as i can.

If you did it by debit card or credit card, you can call your bank and cancel it.

Please warn your friends. The owner DOESNT give a rat's fuzzy ### about truckers. He wont even put the trucks in the shop for it's duct tape and bubble gum half ### fix job till he gets money on the heap. He repository the trucks and already has someone else's money on it before it even touches the lot. I have seen trucks sold from under guys because someone else had a grand or 2 more and they tell the Guy that originally put down money on the truck that he DIDNT get there in time, or they found something wrong with it and cashed it out. I am telling you, that place is as crooked as they come. The "good" reviews you read 99.9% of them were written by 2 guys named Eric and Chad and they got paid $100 per glowing review they wrote. They have let a COUPLE people get a decent deal only to attempt to make themselves look straight up. But if you get a truck with them, be sure you bring LOTS OF LUBE WITH YA, cuz they are gonna screw you RAW!

I'm gonna bring this thread back from the dead. These guys at ATS claim to help you get a truck even with bad credit or no credit. Y'all say stay away from em. If I wanna buy a truck and I have bad credit, where do I go? I defiantly DO NOT wanna get scammed.

Bad credit 2nd chance places ARENT the way to go. And in this economy right now, it may not be wise to try to buy one at all. Your beat bet is first make sure you have enough cash saves to cover running coat for at least 6 months and enough to cover a down payment and first few months payments before you even look at a truck.

Good luck I just researched all the complaints on this company on the rip off report and all I can say is WOW! They are down right criminal. All the complaints sound almost identical: Sucker comes in with 4 or 5 grand in his pocket, they sweet talk him into "buying" one of their pieces of junk. A week later the truck breaks down they refuse to pay for the repairs forcing the buyer to. Which causes him to miss his outragously high payment. A few days later they repo the truck and demand several thousand dollars from the sucker to get the truck back. Sucker pays and they still keep the truck. Then "sell" it again to the next sucker that walks in the door and the process is repeated over again. Interesting scam.

Seriously people if your credit is so roached you can't get financed through a reputable dealer just be a company driver untill your score improves. It is amazing how quick people are to part with their hard money to live the O/O "dream."
