Pretty much, most of these trucking companies have started using dac, as a tool to of revenge against drivers you don't agree with. Their unfair rules. The fact is If more drivers spoke up and took actions alot of this wouldn't happen. But let's face it, most drivers now are happy living in a truck. Being forced to break the law, staying out for months at the time. Taking these unfair lease, in which they will never own a truck. They just test the water if nobody complain , it's funny they cry foul when flying j and pilot screwed them over. They been doing it for years to drivers. Tell me what other industry can you work a person 70 hr, with no overtime, not even pay minimum wage, and in most cases of sitting waiting on a load , get no pay at all.. I remember a driver used to get paid after two hr of sitting, now most company say 12-24hr and you can't be under dispatch . Translation ( they send load and you get no pay at all for sitting.) lol... The only thing big trucking companies fear is , the economy getting better. Most companies do not offer sign on bonus any more.. Now I will admit there's money to be made. Companies I made great money celadon lease ( after all deductions 1000+), crst malone( 2500-3500 a week after all deductions before elogs), empire express(company 950-1600 after taxes),USA trucks in ark( 900 a week even at 62). Now for companies you won't make money unless u live in the truck lol. C r England , crst exp. , j b hunt, Pam , two transportation ( lease you will be fine till your truck break down) , hb logistic ( mcgriff 400 a day fuel , if you can get any). , greatwide ( long as you work for great wide directly you will be fine, companies lease to them beware ) .. That just to name a few. My advise is if you have to pay for room or anything do not go ( clear sign of greed) , ask alot of questions, if they don't wanna anwser leave fast as you can. If all the drivers live in trucks run fast as you can, look at the driver parking lot if there's a 74 pinto and bob tails parked there run like hll.. If the company say anything along the line ( you get to see the country for free, you won't have a boss standing over you. ) they lying nothing free , what good is it to see the country with no money in your pockets. As for a boss standing over you , there right ( that's cause they will be running your phone bill up, with dumb question. Reason two you won't have a boss standing over you , he will be at home by 5:30pm . Reason three .. That would mean they will be available when you have a problem... Ok I'll take question now.

 

Sit your truck or car for 3 or four years then jump in it drive it . You will know what dry rotted brakes are.
