Here is some info: Day late for the pickup, had an issue with his air bag etc so no big deal, load tomorrow and deliver straight through (load is 120 miles btw) gets to the shipper, with freight on for the shipper, customer asks if he was the broken down driver picking up for NY. Driver then tells my shipper point blank he was not broken down at all... He gets loaded and then proceeds to never answer the phone again, doesn't make delivery into NY, can't reach him. His "wife" is answering email saying she cannot contact him either and she is worried about his well being. Needless to say do not use these fools, it will be a time saver for you and your customer...

 

well we've heard one side of the story so I hope the op isn't a one post wonder because we all want the rest of the story....

 

Well the rest of the story is he still hasn't delivered driver in an accident (no fault of his own) and was hospitalized in NJ. His father in law picked up the trailer yesterday from the tow yard and is now not answering the phone either. He was 7 miles away from my receiver in the Bronx. We have had nothing but conflicting stories on what exactly happened, and since no one (obviously not the driver in the Hospital) will answer the phone we are left in the dark. We have been moving this product in this lane for 10 years, accidents happen, drivers are delayed it's not my first rodeo, but this has been a crazy ride. Will confirm when it actually delivers, whenever that may be...

 

A 120 mile load that delivers in the Bronx, I wouldn't answer the phone either lol.
