Thanks for saving me from making another mistake!! Why is it so #### hard to find a company that's on the level?!?!!

I worked there for just over 2 months , wrote the truck up everyday . They had me bring it to the shop every 2 weeks , then when I picked it up thinking it should be repaired , they always said we inspected your truck & have to order parts . After the 3rd time telling me this, I wondered where all these "ordered" parts were going ?? Well took the truck to Texas ,then Arkansas , in Little Rock in a construction zone on by-pass 540 just off 40 a pick-up jumped out in-front of me , trailer empty & riding on fresh laid blacktop , 80+ degrees , I T-boned the pick-up truck . I called the insurance company & tried calling Jodie numerous times ( not there ) was what I kept hearing . Finally the next day about mid-morning Tim Evans called me ( so much for concern ) . They kept me running for the next week , sent the truck to a Tire store & a TA truckstop instead of a qualified repair shop . From Arkansas they sent me to Pa. , then to get a load that would take me to the yard in Butler , Indiana - after 30 minutes heading to the shipper , they called & said go somewhere else instead , a load going up by Buffalo, NY - then back to Pa. to get a load to Chicago . On the way to Chicago I took the truck to Butler , tried more than a few times to call "emergency week-end dispatch " , finally reached a answering service on his phone & left this message ( Your truck is in Butler & I fired myself , goodbye ! This was on a Sunday . Jim Evans called me at home later Sunday night & proceeded to chew my ### out for not delivering the load then coming to the yard , he sounded like a 6 year old ranting away ! He never even knew his truck & I were in an accident ! So much for internal communications . I did get all my pay from them , except for the last load , but that was ok because it was less than I thought they would try & keep .
As for fuel , never had a problem , if I thought I needed more than their $400 card allotment - all you have to do is call your DM & they put it on your card no questions asked !!
I would never recommend this company to anyone , because in my opinion their lease program is a joke . Leasing a truck with over a million miles on it is asking for trouble !
THAT'S ALL FOLK'S !!!!!Last edited: Jun 4, 2014

What are the payments like on a truck with over a million miles on it? Is it like 4 months at 600 a week?
