I pay for my own as an owner operator and can confirm it costs ~$15/month. It pays for itself -- I save about $1 in fuel every time I get a bypass.

Lab work and Rooster1291979 Thank this.

Hate to burst your bubble,but...if you got a ticket because your paperwork want up to par..that's your fault and pre pass has nothing to do with it...you show you've been driving for 28yrs...after 28yrs you still don't know how to log?...just saying...

Are you saying that it's costing you that fuel in just having to slow down, possibly stop, then get back up to speed? Or is there something more I'm missing?

I had always just seen the PrePass as just a convenience thing and a little bit of a time saver, but had never considered the amount of work the truck was having to do in pulling through a scale.

This is a driver's site that encourages discussion of companies. It would be difficult to have those discussions without posting the company name. But, we don't permit posting of company employees' full names unless they are the owner or other public figure involved with the company. And we certainly don't - and won't ever - permit companies to name their employees publicly.

I say that certainly is a one sided deal than isn't it ? It is OK in your book to put FALSE information on MY company but not OK for me as the OWNER to state the facts ?? I see what this forum is aimed towards now,
