This is a warning to anyone thinking of driving for Full Tilt Transport/Double S Transport out of Springfield, Missouri. Full Tilt Transport is a tanker division and Double S Transport division is Fed Ex. I worked for this company for almost a year and a half and this has been the worst company i have ever worked for. When you go in for your orientation they tell you that you are guaranteed to take home $800+ a week and out for 12 to 14 days. Out of the entire time i worked there i had only seen about 23 checks that was over $800 and i was lucky to make $500 on the rest of my checks, i had gotten several checks that were around $200 and $300. there was several times i was on the road anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks at a time but had to sit 2 to 3 days "not getting paid" because the load cordinator does not know how to schedule loads, plus the load coordinator is the owner's son. And there has been several times that the company says they have more work than they know what to do with and the next thinng you know your sitting at home for 2 to 5 days at a time. This company will intentionally hold out money out of several of your checks to see if you will catch it or not, and if you do catch it and confront them about it they will make it out to be your fault and will not give it back to you until your next check, which makes them more money for keeping it in their bank acounts longer. But no matter what happens while working for that company wether its the load coordinator's and the dispatcher's fault they will always find a way to make it your fault. The load coordinator and the dispatcher hardly ever communicate between each other, the dispatcher will tell you to go one place then the load coordinator will call you to find out why your heading in the wrong direction and then chew you out for going to the wrong place even though thats where the dispatcher told you to go. This company is nothing but a joke, they do NOT care about their drivers, they have been known to tell drivers that drivers are a dime a dozen. The owner makes his money off of Fed Ex and can care less about his tanker drivers. I do NOT recommend anyone to work for this company, and if you ever run into any drivers from this company just ask them what they think of the company and the smart drivers will have nothing good to say about the company.

You and I may have been in orientation, at the same time - mid-March 2013.

I walked around the truck I was to drive but was not told to take possession. From March 18 to 22, 2013, they were looking for a load for me. Then, they said a driver screwed up a load by delivering to the wrong place and contaminated a storage tank with the wrong product. They were having him continue with the truck I was to be assigned, to load the contaminated product for disposal to be determined. After that, he was to transfer to the FedEx side.

April 1, Lori said they were not stinging me along and I didn't bother to reply. Didn't look like I was ever going to get started and their story sounded fishy. Looks like I got lucky...
